Outer Banks Ferry Service is the oldest continuing ferry service located in Beaufort. Operating year-round (weather permitting), Outer Banks Ferry Service is located on the waterfront across from the NC Maritime Museum.

Houseboat rentals are also available.

Great fun!!!

We took the Pirate Treasure Hunt with the boys ages 6,8,& 9. They had a blast. They dropped us off at Carrot Island where a Pirate guided us on the adventure. We stayed for an hour but could have stayed longer. The Captain picked us up right on time! We even saw a huge herd of wild horses aprx 25! Great time for a short trip. I wouldn't have stayed longer. One hour was enough. Great time!!!!
