The Gateway to the Caribbean

We find The Dock House to truely be the gateway to the Caribbean with all the power & sailboats comming & going at the Beaufort Docks. We just kicked back, had drinks and some really good food.Even saw one of the cooks on the docks with a fishinf pole... no kidding. That night they had live music outside and the boardwalk filled up with all kinds of people enjoying the festive atmosphere. They call it ''The Beau Zone''. We are def going back!

This may be a seafood restaurant but the prime rib is 5stars plus it was cook just right but the seafood was ok the corn on the cob was not as good as i was told i would give that 2 stars service as AAAA PLUS WE CAME FROM bALTIMORE mARYLAND FOR THE usmc grad

A down-home bar/eatery with the best location (waterfront) and people-watching in Beaufort, it is always on our list of places to go while visiting Eastern NC.
Staff are very pleasant, and the kitchen puts out some yummy but not fancyschmancy meals and snacks. Usually a good band on the dockside deck in the evenings. We saw local favs Infectious Blues Blues and the whole waterfront was jumping. The Dockhouse IS Beaufort.

A local favortite the Dockhouse is a unique place offering good food at a fair price, friendly atmosphere, strong drinks, and a helpful staff. The live music was wonderful also. The view was priceless and the people we met there were true characters. The best stop on our trip.
