Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Don't go to Ribeyes if you have kids!
By Carlee on 9/1/2008
Our family ventured to Ribeyes while on vacation at Emerald Isle. We were very disappointed with the children's menu. The choices for children are not only very limited.........they are extremely small portions. I was dumbfounded when my daughter received her grilled chicken tenders with a bag of chips for $6! My husband even asked the waitress when they were bringing the rest of her food. He was not being sarcastic. She literally had only about 5 bite size pieces of chicken and a bag of chips. My son's grilled cheese was gross and he didn't eat it and my 10 year old age from the salad bar and yes folks it's $8 regardless of your age. The service was bad. We had to ask for everything we got. We were very dissatisfied for the almost $80 price tag! I do have to say one thing, our steaks were delicious. I would have enjoyed them much more if I kids hadn't been so disappointed. Parents are more willing to spend $20+ for their food if their kids are happy. They need to update their kids menus and their portion sizes. Usually a kids meal is enough for an adult. I had to give my daughter part of my steak and potato. Neither of my kids ate their chips.......who wants baked lays chips from a steakhouse? They really should consider adding fries also. I won't venture back there. We ate at another steakhouse tonight during their kids eat free special with adult entree for $30. My husband had a ribeye, I had tips, one of my children had a steak and 2 of them had chicken tenders and we all had fries! They brought out peanuts and bread before the meal. For an $80 meal, you would think that Ribeyes would at least offer you a complimentary appetizer like a nice loaf of bread. Ribeyes is definitely not a family friendly environment!

Best steaks in town.....
By Derek on 7/17/2008
Me and my fiance have been to both Ribeyes on the Crystal Coast. Both serve the best steaks around. No sauce is needed and are cooked to perfection. Salad bar is loaded with the best produce. Everytime we are in Emerald Isle, we always go at least once for dinner. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Ribeyes-What else would you think they would have?
By Shelby on 12/16/2007
Ribeyes is the name of the restaurant so what else would you think that they would serve there?I think that they have the best steaks around here. They are better than anyone else could ever offer. Also the salad bar is really great! What more choices could you ask for? If you have a child maybe you should take them to a fast food restaurant or somewhere like that instead of a nice restaurant like Ribeyes? Why take a 10 year old child to a restaurant like that anyways when you know that they would rather have a happy meal. Maybe that's what you need is a happy meal being your attitude is so bad. Also Ribeyes is in Carteret County NOT Cape Carteret!!!!

Ribeyes - That's all they have
By Daphnep on 5/5/2007
We were very disappointed in our visit to the Cape Carteret Ribeye's. We anticipated a nice Steak Dinner during our vacation. All that was on the menu were ''Ribeye'' steaks - just different sizes. And basically, baked potatoes. We had a 10 year child, this restaurant does not do much to accomodate children. Imagine a steakhouse that does not serve fries? We were disappointed in the steak. It was overpriced and the steak tasted like meat tenderizer. Won't be back.
