The Carteret County Library is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am until 9:00 pm, on Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Ms. Sara has storytime for Preschoolers (ages 3-5) on Wednesdays at 10:00 am, and for Tots (ages 1½-3) on Fridays at 10:00 am. There are also programs for ''Tweens'' (grades 3-8). They include Tuesday Book Club on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm, and Thursday “Tweens” Afternoon Activities from 4:15 pm-5:15 pm.
