Beaufort Historical Site: An annual juried show and sale of the Carteret County Arts & Crafts Coalition, is located at Beaufort Historic Site. Information: Kris White, 252-729-9311. Hours are Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Barta Boys and Girls Club Billfish Tournament

Downtown Beaufort Docks: Headquartered at the downtown Beaufort Docks, is a billfish release-only event with Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin and King Mackerel Gamefish Divisions including a Jr. Angler Division for ages 16 years or younger. In addition to fishing, the world's greatest marine artists are on hand to display their artwork, some pieces are available at auction. Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center: The Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center, located across from the main museum building, is open for viewing wooden boat construction and restoration and ship model building.
Boatbuilding Skills Classes are designed for novices and experienced woodworkers. Boatbuilding Carpentry is a prerequisite for the Boatbuilding classes. Boat in a Day is for an adult/child team working from a pre-cut kit.
Other 2008 dates for this course are: April 12-13, September 6-7 and December 13-14.

Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center: The Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center, located across from the N.C. Maritime Museum in Beaufort, is open for viewing wooden boat construction and restoration, and ship model building.
Boatbuilding Carpentry is a prerequisite for the Boatbuilding classes. Build a boat in a Day is for an adult/child team working from a pre-cut kit. Contact the museum for details, 252-728-7317.
