The Beaufort Historic Site allows you the opportunity to view Beaufort as it was many years ago. With the aid of guided tours of the historic homes, the Old Burying Ground, and preserved buildings, you will be able to imagine yourself living and working in this old seaport town. An authentic double-decker English bus will transport you through the historic district while a knowledgeable guide enlightens you with some of Beaufort's history. The Beaufort Historic Site's museum gift store is known as the Old Beaufort Shop. The special gifts, toys, and accessories that are sold here give visitors a taste of Beaufort's heritage that they can take home with them.
