There are no notes saying that it will be opening soon, and there are billboards all along Morehead City Streets saying it is opened. IT ISN'T! Now that I read these other reviews, I REALLY Don't want to go!

Unbelievably bad buffet, tables and chairs were old and mismatched, surfaces were sticky and our family night out was really spoiled.

First time was four years ago and I thought well maybe it's gotten better. Nope! Same decor, tables, chairs, carpet and worst of all... the food.
The chairs are sticky, why we stayed I don't know. Crab legs are extra and since I am not that crazy about them and my husband doesn't eat them, we didn't order them. The food is just awful and the desserts Ugh! Canned peaches, dry looking brownies and cake that had seen better days. Didn't eat any dessert, that's how bad it looked.
Waitress was very friendly.

Before I even get to the food, we were seated at a table that looked like a collapsable community-hall style model. The chairs were a mixture of various sets. The table and chairs were found to be sticky. A child seat was passed to us which was encrusted with hardended bits of food. The waitress made a half-hearted attempt at picking the bits off before I asked her to wipe it down with a wet cloth. For some reason we were too polite to leave and proceeded to the buffet. Crab legs shown in buffet ads had to be ordered on the side. Fish was dry, breaded fish had bones, crab cakes (if thats your thing) were plain. Of the 4 adults in our party, the consensus was the food was very mediocre. The best offering in the buffet desert selection was a dry brownie. Im not the type of person to let an all you can eat buffet go without giving it all a try but I lost all appetite after taking my 5 year old ot the mens washroom. It was absolutely filthy. Recent coat of white paint has stains all over the walls, no paper towels or even a toilet paper dispenser. I was unable to return to eating after that.
We probably went in expecting a higher class of restaurant than it was but there is no excuse for lack of basic cleanliness.
