Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Best Mojito on Planet Earth
By Kathy on 4/9/2008
One of the best experiences I have had in a restaraunt in NC or PA and the best mixed drinks we have ever had(a party of six adults). We went on half-price night, the place was packed, but everything was perfect. This was in March during the off-season, but they were already on the ball. If you are anywhere near this place, DON''T miss it!

Favorite place to eat
By Sharon on 10/25/2007
We've been coming to Atlantic Beach for 4 years. Amos's is one of our favorite activities. The ''Mosquito'' atmosphere is unique and fun. The food is exceptional!! I rarely order an entree off the menu because the specials sound so good...and they taste wonderful! My husband has ordered off the menu and loves that too. Thursday night is Sushi. This is one of our favorite nights.Sandy is the manager. His wife is the chef. She is always coming up with new recipes. Desserts are good too. They have somores for kids. From meatloaf to seafood, great place to eat!!

tasty entrees, great atmosphere

We've been going to Amos's since it was on the Morehead waterfront and love it. The food is tasty and healthy--great nightly specials that inspire me to create similar dishes at home.

I love the decor and the people watching. Excellent waitstaff-some long-timers. Hostesses seem to bump into each other and communicate poorly. Seem more worried about their outfits, tans and after work plans--rather aloof to customers at times, but they are amusing to observe.

Thursday night is Sushi night, and it is excellent. Best place to dine in Atlantic Beach.

Number One!

This is our favorite restaurant on the beach!

Pros: Owners are extremely friendly and they care about you and the service you receive. Never a bad meal - the food is delicious and the waitstaff is excellent. Choose to eat in bar or outside if possible.

Cons: I prefer not to eat in dining room.

Loved the food!

My aunt and uncle ate at this place and were not happy with their food. However, they are now going to try it again after my boyfriend and I ate here and loved it! Always packed for dinner, we made reservations and were seated fairly quickly. Service and food were very good
