speedy service, cheesy decor

We've been going to NYDeli for four years, and it's time fo the owners to redo the interior, and update the menu. The existing menu is good, but needs to be ''kicked up a notch''. Maybe some panini sandwiches. The redskin potato salad is excellent.

Jerry, the owner who takes the orders and mans the cash register has plenty of attitude--we call him the ''sandwich Nazi''.

This place is really tasty and it is all Ny uped. I love it it is a great assortment of sandwhiches that are so darn good.

Best Deli in NC

I've been eating at this place for over 20 years through 3 different owners, and it is better now than it's ever been. I recommend the #5 sub. Also on Fridays and sometimes on Saturdays they have pasta night. Tha is really good and quite romantic for a date. Great Italian desserts too.

Pros: great food, great staff, owners are the best!!!, best pasta salad
Cons: sometimes you have to wait but it is worth it...not very quiet
