Love the theater since there is little else in the area. However....there is NO FOOD served!! That's ridiculous! Where's the hot dogs? Only popcorn & some candy is sold. Please update what you offer. New theaters are being built in the next town & many of us don't want to travel there. Better svcs, tho only 4 movies still, may help keep the locals & tourists coming. Hot dogs wld be great.

Good, but must get better

Surf Cinemas is a pretty good theater. Unlike larger cineplexes, there isn't such a large selection of shows. But for a small town, it's ok. The only problem I see is that the owners had better wake up and get growing. Population is exploding, and competition with newer, bigger, better theaters is definitely going to move in. I hope they get expanding soon, or be prepared to go under.

well i think that the movie theater in southport is preety good. it gives teens and families a good chance to spend time with one another. and teens a chance to get out the house, and have fun!! the only thing that is a little different is that there isn't many options to see movies. all the teens at my school go every friday and we don't want to see the same things over and over again.
