agree about bad management

I have had my camper at SeaMist for 5 years. At first it was fine, but recently with every statement comes a set of new rules. New management thinks they have to micromanage everything. Now, to sell your camper, you have to pay them $250 dollars for nothing. And you cannot even put a sign on it or advertise it. If you complain, they can evict you or not approve the person you want to sell it to. The Owner needs to be aware of the poor management and unfair treatment of those not in their little group of friends.

we had our camper there as a permenet vacation home, they change the rules as they please on a daily basis,they go up on the rent twice a year.no kids are allow to stroll and mingle with others if so you're kicked out.boats are $250 to have them on their premises,not worth it at all!! you feel as you are always walking on egg shells around this place.people gossip about others including the ones they gossiping to! i do not recommend this place at all to campers,go else way..we wasted our life here for nothing including our money ,the ownners need to open their eyes and see how bad their management has been,because they are loosing alot of buisness

Have had a camper here for 2 years, never had a problem. Very quiet, clean community, nice campers, the view on the waterway is incredible! Every friend who comes with me wants to buy a camper, and one did.!

Have had some upgrades to the site; very friendly, clean. Could use more maintenance to the grounds & the boat ramp is in dire need of repair. But overall, a great place to camp on the waterway!

One of North Carolina best kept secrets. Some modern amenites while retaining that ole time campground feeling. Boat ramp and pier could use some maintenance. It's ashame the owners want to sell to condo developers.

Nice camp ground but it could be alot more child friendly. Add a nice sand box,a few slides, and several swings.There was only 1 broken swing that I seen. Thay just a nice place for the kids to play,It cant be much $$ for that.

Permanent campers are very friendly people. Some of the drug use in he campground needs to be looked into, as well as underage drinking.

Sea Mist is a really nice place to stay. My family owns a camper and we really enjoy going for a visit. We have kids and a dog and the accomodations are nice for both. The people are very friendly and it has a good sense of ''community''. It is also close enough to travel to lots of different attractions, but outside of the ''high traffic zones''. I would definately recommend it for families.

I really like the private feeling you get here. Thereare plenty of things to do and see without ever leaving the camp ground. Plus it is only a few miles to the beach side. Holden and Ocean Isle close by. Located about 25 miles South Of Willmington and 35 mi North of Myrtle Beach. Can't beat it for a nice friendly place to stay a week or year round.
