If my dog could speak I think he would say he had a great time. Each dog gets a private ''ROOM'' not a cage. The dog has the opportunity to go outside in an approx. 5x8 fenced area for some fresh air and sun via a doggy door. Then from there through a gate into a long run with others with supervision. A second indoor play area with a door to go outside is available. All the dogs are paired with others depending on how well they interact with others. All outside play areas are grass. Your dog is allowed to bring his own food, bedding, and toys to make his stay feel like home. The location is excellent. About 15 minutes from Holden Beach where I stay and 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach. The kennel also has a plan to take care of your pet in case of a hurricane if you aren't able to pick them up, your pet will be safe. I'll return every year. They care for and play with your pet, not just give them a cage to stay in. | |

The biggest advantage to W&W is that my dog is not kept alone in a kennel all day. She plays with other dogs in an air-conditioned room, supervised by kennel staff. There is also a grassy area outside the play room for dogs to play together. A staff member gets to know each dog and evaluates whether a dog is suitable to play with the others, based on temperament. My dog has a clean and comfortable sleeping area, separated by a concrete wall. This allows for privacy and quiet. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, patiently answering my questions and addressing my concerns with leaving my dog with them. I call several times during the week to check on my dog, and staff is available and willing to speak with me. The best part is that my dog is in excellent health when I pick her up (no fleas, no ticks, no chafing on her nose from a chain link fence, no anxiety, no trauma). This is an excellent kennel. | |
