Calzones Rock!

Service seems to be a bit spotty, and there's no real ambiance to speak of, but I normally eat there every 2-3 weeks just to get one of their ''Angelo's'' calzones (it's not on the menu, but it's the calzone version of the ''Angelo's Stromboli''). Occassionaly, I get a pizza to go, which is also excellent.

Everyone I've ever been with seems to love the other menu items, but I guess I'm just a one trick pony.

Different chefs on different days?

The first couple of times I ate at Angelo's was great. The food was delicious and the service was adequate. The last time our take-out order was incorrect, and the food itself was mediocre at best. However, it's still the best pizza to be found in Shallotte.
