Spaghetti Salsa??

We have eaten at the Shallotte location a couple times in the past and it is usually good. Last time the salsa had a strong oregano taste. Must have been a sale on spaghetti sauce somewhere. We asked for some different salsa and they put lime juice in it to try to hide the oregano. The portions were great and my fajitas were good. My wife was not impressed with her chimachonga or burrito. Needed more chicken. Service was mediocre (empty tea glass) and food took a while for no more people than were there. We may try again in the future, but I will taste the salsa at the front door first. That is one of the best parts of the mexican restaurant experience. Try a pitcher of margueritas while there.

GREAT MEXICAN FOOD!

My husband love this place. We eat at Mexican restaurants a lot, but this is his favorite. We are from Greensboro, NC and this beats all of the ones there. The prices are good and the food really good. They are not stingy with the cheese dip on the entrees. We recommend this restaurant if you want Mexican at the beach.
