''Have visited HB long enough to remember the pre-Food Lion days! We're thrilled they finally opened!
However, sure wish some grocery in the area would develop their entrepreneurial spirit! If you could pre-order and pay up fromt for a basic order (milk, eggs, cereals, etc., etc.) before you arrive and just pick it up, or even have it delivered...wow...would we love it! And we'd pay for it!The store is WAY too busy on check-in day. And coming from such a long distance, there's nothing we can do...''
''This is my favorite place to shop when I go to Holden Beach. It has unique gifts and clothes and I never leave empty handed. It doesn't matter if the store is full of customers or I am the only one in there, they make me feel welcom and they are very helpful....''
''Stopped in last week on a hunch. Nobody seemed to be hooking any Red Snapper. These folks had a bunch flash frozen. Leave set in a container of cold water about an hour before cooking, and you'll find them just like fresh catch. Excellent eatin'. So good, kids who swear by fishsticks will think it's chicken... and gobble it up. lots of provisions on hand. Plenty of Spots, for folks who like those fish. Fair variety otherwise. Friendly people....''
