You Can Skip this Place

I don't know why we even tried it again. The last two times we've vacationed in Holden Beach, we've eaten at the Seafood Peddler and it was horrible. But...we decided to give it another shot this week and it was even worse than we remembered. The prices are extremely high, even for a buffet. The food is just not good. There is never a crowd there, so that should be a real clue to everyone. We've given this place three chances, but never a fourth.

Good eats buffet

Wanted to check out the place with the shark pokin' out above the entrance. Great place for lunch. 6.99 adult/all you can eat. Kids eat cheap. Popcorn shrimp, deep fried Spots (fish), excellent fried chicken (not greasy at all), fried sweet potato sticks, salad, desserts, more. Friendly staff. Would imagine even a larger variety for dinner. Your kids will love the assortment of ceramic sharks, turtles, etc. inside. Open Thu-Sat for lunch offseason, Fri-Sat dinner.
