''Provisions is a must for any visit to Holden Beach! The food & service is outstanding. We were lucky enough to get a window table right on the intercoastal waterway. What a view! Our friend was disappointed when they ran out of clams but was happy with his alternate order. What a surprise when the clams were delivered during dinner and he was treated to free clams. One of the employees remembered and brought them to him....''

''We have been to Holden Beach three times and have always eaten a couple meals at the Seafood Barn. It's great! Last night, my wife and I had the Coconut Shrimp and both kids had the fish. The portions are always large and the food is delicious. The hushpuppies are brought to your table before you order and they are wonderful. We will definitely eat at the Seafood Barn a few more times this week....''

''This place stays busy, even in the off-season! Sean (bartender) is excellent, and the food (once you get a table) is even moreso! The bar is always busy with lots of locals chatting, and leads itself to mingling between locals and tourists.

The husband/wife team that run this place have certainly taken things ''up a notch''. If you don't see it on the menu, try asking -- I rarely eat anything off the menu, and have never once been dissapointed in the 20+ visits over the years....''

''I don't know why we even tried it again. The last two times we've vacationed in Holden Beach, we've eaten at the Seafood Peddler and it was horrible. But...we decided to give it another shot this week and it was even worse than we remembered. The prices are extremely high, even for a buffet. The food is just not good. There is never a crowd there, so that should be a real clue to everyone. We've given this place three chances, but never a fourth....''
