Capt. Kyle's Thanksgiving Inshore Classic
Friday, November 27, 2009 - Saturday, November 28, 2009
Ocean Isle Fishing Center: This year we will keep the same format that we have had over the past coupe of years, with the winner being decided by the largest combined/aggregate weight of 3 speckled trout. We will pay back the top 5 places overall (5 largest 3 - trout aggregates), and will have two separate TWTs, one for the largest 3 - trout combined weight (Split between the 1st/2nd/3rd place finishers) and a TWT for the largest single trout (Also split between the 1st/2nd/3rd place finishers). Basic entry for the tournament will be $100, and the entry for the TWTs will be $50 each. 100% of all entries will be payed back to the winners (both overall and TWTs). Registration will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27th, and fishing will be from 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28th. Awards will be directly following weigh - in at 5:00 p.m.

The Nutcracker under the Sea
Saturday, December 12, 2009 - Sunday, December 13, 2009
Brunswick Community College Odell Williamson Auditorium, Hwy. 17, Supply: Brunswick Ballet Company & Brunswick Little Theatre will perform this adaptation of the traditional story of the Nutcracker, which gives it a local flare without changing the basics of the story or music. It takes place on a North Carolina rice plantation in the 1800's, and Clara's dream in Act II takes place under the sea.
